It was their first meeting. But for Chancellor Choue Young Seek, Mr Ikeda was like an old acquaintance as their purpose in life is parallel. Mr Ikeda said: “Only the founders of schools really understand the heart of their counterparts.” Dr Choue, who is the founder of Korea’s Kyung Hee University responded, “In what other schools are students moved to tears when meeting with the school’s founder? This kind of attitude will move the next century.” Mr Ikeda added, “All that I want is sound growth and development of our students. I don’t care about my own well-being. This is the founder’s spirit.”
