During the midst of the Cold War, Ikeda Sensei travelled between China, Russia and US, as an ordinary citizen, resolving it.

As the oppression worsened in 1977, President Ikeda began writing division and prefecture songs to encourage the members. As members sang these songs, they grasped the significance of the mentor and disciple relationship in their lives while walking the great path of Soka.
