Andrea Quartini

Andrea Quartini, Spokesperson Councilor in the Tuscany Region and Vice President of the council group, also serving as Commissioner of the Third Commission (Health and social policies), brings a wealth of experience as a Doctor in the ASL of Florence, specializing in the field of drug addiction. With an impressive portfolio, he is the author of approximately 100 publications and books, passionately advocating for Buddhist philosophy. Notably, he was part of the council delegation that attended the award ceremony where Daisaku Ikeda received the Silver Pegasus medal. 

During the Italian Parliament Assembly on November 22, Andrea Quartini, recognizing Daisaku Ikeda’s contributions to peace, delivered a heartfelt eulogy, praising Ikeda’s global achievements. This acknowledgment is a testament to the impact of Daisaku Ikeda’s work on an international scale.
