Friends of SGI (Soka Gakkai International) around the world, in the midst of deep sadness over the passing of Daisaku Ikeda, embarked on a powerful new journey towards global kosen-rufu on November 18th, “Soka Gakkai Founding Day.”

A national executive meeting to commemorate the significance of Brazil’s memorial service was held online on the 18th (local time) at the Bauru Cultural Center in Bauru, Sao Paulo state, and was attended by 20,000 people.

After watching a video of Chairman Harada and Chief Vice-President Ikeda’s conversation, the participants solemnly performed the gongyo and chanted the daimoku. Following the youth group representative’s determination, Women’s Director Inoguchi said, “With the traditional belief of the Brazilian women’s group, “muito mais daimoku,” we will continue to work together with Mr. Ikeda to pursue hope for the happiness of ourselves and others.
