A new generation of leaders has taken the stage now, including our recently appointed Soka Gakkai president and general director [Minoru Harada and Masaaki Masaki, respectively]. This makes me very happy. First Soka Gakkai president Tsunesaburo Makiguchi was succeeded by his disciple, Mr Toda. Mr Toda was succeeded by his disciple, me. And it is my wish that all of you, my youthful disciples, will be my successors.​

A new era has begun, heralded by the presence of genuine disciples whom I have long dedicated myself to fostering.​
