Inauguration Speech
May 3, 1960

On the stage of the Nihon University Auditorium, I declared in my inaugural speech:

“Though I am young, from this day I will take leadership as a representative of President Toda’s disciples and advance with you another step toward the substantive realisation of  kosen-rufu.” 

This is the vow that I made at the age of 32, standing before a portrait of my mentor.
