The motivation Ikeda Sensei most frequently describes is revealing. All of his accomplishments, he has said, have been an effort to fulfill the vision of his mentor, and to demonstrate Toda Sensei’s greatness. For more than six decades, Ikeda Sensei has kept the vision of his mentor,  Josei Toda, close to his heart.
