In December 1958, the year of Mr Toda’s passing, I called out to members at a young men’s division general meeting: “When attacked by the three powerful enemies  or the workings of the devil king,  let us fiercely fight back.” I exerted myself just as my mentor instructed. And I have continued to do so, in the belief that this is the way I can repay my gratitude to him.
