He said: “Top leaders should think of themselves as the servants of the members and of the leaders under them!” This was one of Mr. Toda’s final injunctions to us. I may be sitting up on this stage here, but I’ve lived my entire life in that spirit. The higher your leadership position, the more critical it is to take this lesson to heart.
