  4. Founding Soka Gakkai International, and as the third President, beginning the new era of innovation and expansion of the movement<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Ikeda Sensei was not without critics when achieving such unprecedented feats. However, he strongly believed that \u201cnothing important can be accomplished if you allow yourself to be swayed by some trifling matter, always looking over your shoulder and wondering what others are saying or thinking.\u201d He left behind these words for his disciples, to ponder and implement in our actions.
