Ikeda Sensei composed the following poems to commemorate November 18, 2023, the 93rd anniversary of the Soka Gakkai’s founding and the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Hall of the Great Vow for Kosen-rufu. He prepared them before his passing on November 15. The poems appeared in the November 18, 2023, issue of the Soka Gakkai daily newspaper, Seikyo Shimbun.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Disciples, Bodhisattvas of the Earth,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

joyfully taking action all around the globe –\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Repaying our gratitude in this way<\/span><\/p>\n

to our founder who died for his beliefs<\/span><\/p>\n

is the greatest source of pride!<\/span><\/p>\n

Based on the Mystic Law,<\/span><\/p>\n

one person’s inner transformation<\/span><\/p>\n

is an example for all-<\/span><\/p>\n

Let us, you and I, my friends,<\/span><\/p>\n

share this light of hope with everyone.<\/span><\/p>\n
