The meeting of these two influential figures had a profound impact on global peace efforts. Kissinger expressed his agreement and support for the idea.\u00a0 Following this encounter, Ikeda promptly met with Japanese Minister of Finance Masayoshi Ohira in Washington on the same day.\u00a0 Ikeda Sensei shared Kissinger&#8217;s positive response and underscored the necessity of such a treaty.
