Only when a disciple\u00a0<\/span><\/span>shares the mentor\u2019s great vow for\u00a0<\/span><\/span>kosen-rufu<\/span><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><\/span>strives to realise it through practising with selfless\u00a0<\/span><\/span>dedication does he or she truly walk the path of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>mentor and disciple.\u00a0 To hold high the teachings of <\/span><\/span>Nichiren <\/span><\/span>Buddhism and strive to block the road that <\/span><\/span>leads to the hell of incessant suffering, and instead\u00a0<\/span><\/span>to open a great path of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>kosen-rufu<\/span><\/span>\u00a0that will\u00a0<\/span><\/span>continue \u201cfor ten thousand years and more, for all\u00a0<\/span><\/span>eternity\u201d, just as President Toda did before me \u2014\u00a0<\/span><\/span>this is my way to repay my debt to my mentor.<\/span><\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/p>\n
