Mr Toda sternly warned:\u00a0<\/span>\u200b<\/p>\n

\u201cAs Gakkai members, all of us have been born with a great mission. We mustn\u2019t be lazy or cowardly. After all, we\u2019re Bodhisattvas of the Earth who champion the cause of\u00a0<\/span>kosen-rufu<\/span>.\u201d<\/span>\u200b<\/p>\n

\u201cNo matter what happens, I will win without fail. The most important thing is\u00a0<\/span>kosen-rufu<\/span>, the\u00a0<\/span>Daishonin\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0mandate; it mustn\u2019t be delayed for even a day. The\u00a0<\/span>Soka<\/span>\u00a0Gakkai is the sole organisation that can achieve this mandate. Isn\u2019t it a truly magnificent mission we have? We are the Bodhisattvas of the Earth whose mission is to work for the Law and for\u00a0<\/span>kosen-rufu<\/span>.”<\/span>\u200b<\/p>\n

\u00a0The founding spirit of the\u00a0<\/span>Soka<\/span>\u00a0Gakkai lies in realising the wonderful mission and power we possess as Bodhisattvas of the Earth. There is not the slightest need for us to feel unworthy or be envious of others. The noble life of a Bodhisattva of the Earth beats vibrantly in the very depths of our beings. We can tap and bring forth that pure and powerful life-force by chanting with a deep vow and taking courageous action!<\/span><\/p>\n
