Achieving the lofty and\u00a0<\/span>great objectives of attaining Buddhahood in\u00a0<\/span>this lifetime and realising\u00a0<\/span>kosen-rufu<\/span>\u00a0require\u00a0<\/span>that we unite in spirit and advance with\u00a0<\/span>unity of purpose.<\/span>\u200b<\/p>\n

Towards that end, a teacher who correctly\u00a0<\/span>practises the Law is vital. That is why the\u00a0<\/span>Daishonin\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0successor, Nikko Shonin, strictly\u00a0<\/span>stated: \u201cWithout following the correct\u00a0<\/span>relationship of mentor and disciple, there is\u00a0<\/span>no attaining Buddhahood.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
