I will never forget the sight of Mr Toda weeping\u00a0<\/span><\/span>as he held a copy of a newly published revised\u00a0<\/span><\/span>edition of the Theory of Value, the great work of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>his own mentor and the Gakkai\u2019s founder\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Tsunesaburo<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Makiguchi<\/span><\/span>\u00a0who had died in prison\u00a0<\/span><\/span>for his beliefs. \u201cI am determined to have the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>world recognise Mr\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Makiguchi<\/span><\/span>!\u201d he declared <\/span><\/span>passionately. I, too, vowed to make the world <\/span><\/span>recognise the achievements of my mentor, who <\/span><\/span>had been defamed and slandered during his <\/span><\/span>lifetime. Today, all those lies and malicious <\/span><\/span>slanders have been put to rest, and the truth has <\/span><\/span>triumphed. The mentors and disciples of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Soka<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>have won!<\/span><\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/p>\n
