Inheriting\u00a0<\/span>Makiguchi<\/span> and Toda Sensei\u2019s legacy, Ikeda Sensei has taken the further step of stressing the \u201cdignity and sanctity of life\u201d as the spiritual value toward which all humanity should aspire and share.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Mr\u00a0<\/span>Makiguchi<\/span>\u00a0referred to \u201cmajor good\u201d as an aspect of the spiritual value that would be realised through spreading the Mystic Law. Mr Toda, meanwhile, espoused \u201chuman revolution\u201d for all humankind. Inheriting their legacy, I have taken the further step of stressing the \u201cdignity and sanctity of life\u201d as the spiritual value toward which all humanity should aspire and share.<\/span>\u200b<\/p>\n

Kosen-rufu<\/span> is the most difficult of undertakings. That\u2019s because it involves an inner transformation in people\u2019s lives. Faith in the Mystic Law is a self-motivating force. Steadfast efforts in one-on-one dialogue are indispensable to nurturing that faith in each person, giving them confidence in their potential to change themselves from within.<\/span><\/p>\n
