It is Mr Makiguchi, Mr Toda, and myself who laid the Soka path of mentor and disciple. The way of mentor and disciple that we have demonstrated is the very heart of the Soka Gakkai. As long as the Soka Gakkai carries on the mentor-disciple spirit of the first three presidents, the organisation will forever develop and thrive and we will definitely be able to realise worldwide kosen-rufu. I would like my successors in the youth division to inherit the first three presidents’ fighting spirit for kosen-rufu without fail and to win in all their endeavours. Youth, I’m counting on you!
