The more and more I chant, I realize the debt of gratitude I owe to you. Thankyou so much sensei for every daimoku you have chanted for the people around the world who were eagerly waiting to be saved. The days I don’t feel confident about myself, I remember you. The love and confidence you show in us (your own Ikeda Kayokais) is the source of joy and courage to me. I will always walk on the path of mentor and disciple and never ever forsake my vow. Sensei! I made my first EVER tangible connection to Sensei Daisaku Ikeda X-mas day and was overwhelmed with such intense gratitude that I was blubbering like a baby. I guess 62 years is not long at all in the scheme of infinity I am determined to be a worthy example of Sensei's life and achievements and find like-minded bodhisattvas wherever this life takes me and share this profound teaching. Thank you Sensei for all you did for us !!!!! I am eternally in your debt.

I started this practice as an experiment to see if it works. I seriously started practicing in 2019. I saw many life transforming experiences, which made me the person I am today. I don't think I really understood mentor disciple concept, until 3 years after my practice when I actually understood what it means to carry out Sensei's heart, spirit and life with us, wherever we are and in whatever situation we are. Renewed my vows yet again to be an exemplary in my life and profession.

Thank you very much Ikeda Sensei for all your Huge efforts for peace, culture and education. Thanks to Mrs Kaneko Ikeda who support him in the shadow during all these years. I was lucky to meet Sensei in Europa. These are golden memories in my heart. I found a great Buddhist master and you save my life. Now since you join the Eagle peak, I took a new fresh start. Part 7: I continue to live a most mystifying life indeed and today is no exception. I also chanted powerfully to various frequency alignment sounds and then saw that the daily messages from Sensei’s Wisdom for Every Day life fully aligned with me in that day’s writings. Part 6: We in our practice say, “Never Give Up” and that “Every Winter Turns To Spring.” In this vein, I am emboldened to chart a new path and new beginning immediately as I approach 2024 and beyond. It is about time. I have all the clarity I needed, from the base and soiled pastures i have occasionally trodden akin to the blooming of a lotus flower— my inner one that is.

Part 5: With that said, i have an even more stark realization to better honor his spirit and wisdom “From this Day Forward” fully aligning my actions and behavior with the example he set in his life… which manifests my highest self, dreams, and goals in my life which is proven daily with evidence and facts! I give eternal thanks to Sensei Daisaku Ikeda for the many benefits i have received from this religion.

Part 4: I post this now because when i finally feel that i now deeply understand the mentor/discple relationship—which is why i chanted so passionately in the early AM from 5 am to 7 am—during the most charged part of the day and mystic energy—i find out that my mentor has passed.

Part 3: However, There are many powerful Buddhist principles i have learned thanks to Sensei Ikeda’s worldwide propagation that have changed my life for the better and made me realize the tenets therein are guaranteed! I May have swayed in the past sometimes, but never lost focus of my the profundity and beauty of this practice.

Part 2: Come what may, i have said it in the past, to some and likely many people. This is my 20th year and 11 months of practicing this Buddhism and working on my human revolution, thanks to the concepts of the Lotus Sutra as conceived by Shakyamuni Buddha, Nichiren Daishonin, and my eternal spiritual mentor Sensei Ikeda. Friends might say i have not always emulated the mentor/disciple relationship, for i never fully grasped it in the past.

Part 1: On November 17, I found out that the third president of the Soka Gakkai International - Worldwide Kosen-rufu Dr. Daisaku Ikeda passed away from natural causes at 95 years old. He was the spiritual leader of over 12 million Buddhists around the world in 192 countries that he brought the practice of SGI Nichiren Buddhism. He has a legacy of having laid the groundwork for so many people’s development, and championed world peace through the transformation of one individual at a time.

I only joined the SGI recently, but I am so fortunate to have become a member while Ikeda-sensei and Mrs. Ikeda were both alive. It has been such a benefit to me to discover my Buddha nature. and become a disciple of our final founding president and, through him, all our founding presidents. I will strive persistently to make our three founding presidents proud as they watch their true disciples' efforts.

I am forever grateful that I have you as my mentor in life. I have heard your speeches, read your lectures and books especially NHR and felt very deeply how much you’ve been trying to encourage us to not give up and be victorious. My dearest Sensei, on this day, my 13th anniversary of receiving Gohonzon, thank you for all your efforts and propagating the Mystic Law, your prolific encouragement and teaching me about the vow and mentor disciple relationship. For someone whom I have never met, it still amazes me that I could grief so much on your passing. From there I realise the mentor and disciple bond transcend beyond physical space and time.
