Everyone without exception has a mission. There are members struggling with illness, challenging financial hardship, or working to realise their dreams. Each of us is the star, the protagonist, of our own drama of human revolution.  Second Soka Gakkai president Josei Toda often used to say: “Outwardly, at times, we might look like a ‘Bodhisattva Poverty’ or ‘Bodhisattva Sickness,’ but that is merely a role we’re playing in the drama of life. We are each in fact a bona fide Bodhisattva of the Earth!”  Through the example of how we tackle life’s challenges, we can encourage and inspire others who are facing similar problems. Through our own struggles, we can develop a powerful state of life that will not be shaken by any storm.  Like performers on the stage, let’s thoroughly enjoy ourselves as we play out the drama of our lives, brilliantly triumphing in every sphere and showing the greatness of the Mystic Law to all the world!​
