If we win in the struggle against malicious people and evil authorities bent on destroying kosen-rufu, we attain Buddhahood. That is why the Daishonin declares that our great enemies actually do more for us than our allies.
It’s very important to firmly and thoroughly repudiate people who seek to harm our organisation; otherwise, the Soka Gakkai runs the risk of being destroyed by them in the future. You mustn’t allow that to happen. Mr. Toda used to say: “If we win in the struggle against malicious people and evil authorities bent on destroying kosen-rufu, we attain Buddhahood. That is why the Daishonin declares that our great enemies actually do more for us than our allies.”
In order that our noble cause may endure, it is essential that we resolutely oppose corruption, whether it assails us from inside or outside the organisation. That’s the only way our movement will thrive and prosper. As disciples, it is our role to accurately transmit to future generations the spirit of our mentor’s dedication to truth and justice. To neglect this task would be self-centred and shameful!
