Today, through selfless struggles to spread the Law, the Soka Gakkai has built a vast alliance of Bodhisattvas of the Earth that spans the globe. It is a brilliant alliance of worldwide kosen-rufu that is without precedent in the 750 years since the Daishonin declared his teaching — no, in three thousand years of Buddhist history.  In all the centuries following the Daishonin’s passing, there have been no leaders of kosen-rufu who have endured as much persecution for the sake of the Law as the Soka Gakkai’s first three presidents. This is an indisputable historical fact. It is self-evident that these three leaders of kosen-rufurepresent the mentors for propagation of the Daishonin’s Buddhism in the present age.​
