It is to realise peace and happiness for all humanity. It is to enable everyone to attain an inner state of being in which life itself is a joy and delight. This is kosen-rufu; this is our noble objective. My mentor, second Soka Gakkai President Josei Toda, said that it was his wish to rid the world of misery.  Those who strive for the incomparably great goal of kosen-rufu become great individuals themselves. A towering objective is a towering source of inspiration. Let’s dedicate ourselves joyfully and energetically to actualising the great vow for kosen-rufu. Let’s strive our hardest—in our jobs and our communities, and in our SGI activities—for the sake of kosen-rufu, for our friends, and for ourselves.​
